I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bostokelos, and overall, it was a memorable experience. The shared lounge created a warm atmosphere to mingle, which is always a nice touch when traveling. The garden is beautifully maintained, providing a serene backdrop for our meals and relaxation. I enjoyed a Mother's Day lunch where the culinary innovation was apparent. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, showcasing a mix of local ingredients that reflected the region's rich flavors. The ambiance in the restaurant, accompanied by soft music and candlelit tables, offered a lovely dining experience. While the staff, particularly JP, were friendly and welcoming, it was clear they were somewhat overwhelmed, which impacted the service. Nonetheless, the culinary offerings made up for it. I left with a full stomach and a desire to return, perhaps with friends to share the experience. If you're food-focused like me, you might find Bostokelos to be worthwhile, despite some minor challenges.
